Here at What’s New Johnny we create unique one of-a-kind wind chimes and bottle candles using up-cycled wine, liquor, and special glass bottles.

Our saying is: ‘If you’re going to make it, make it nice’
The finished glass wind chime and bottle candle you see here are made using Pendelton Rye Whisky Bottles.
The bottle candle is simply placed on the Air-Flow Base base with a candle inside.
The Air-Flow Base provides the air the candle needs to keep the flame alive.
The wind chime has a Cordial Glass knocker that gives that pleasing wind chime sound. The bottle is suspended by a stainless steel rope and includes hand-drilled glass drops as beads. The glass & stainless steel spacers give it that beautiful appearance.
The wind catcher consists of 2 glass mirrors glued back to back and then holes drilled with a diamond drill. The sandblasted design is Pendelton Whisky’s Logo.
The wind catcher gives a pleasing eye-catching action even with a very light breeze.
You can always add a design to your favorite bottle by selecting one from Amazon, Etsy, or your favorite hobby store, or make your own with a Silhouette Cameo machine.
I use the Silhouette Cameo machine to cut the required sandblasting mask on permanent vinyl.
You can find the vinyl where you find the designs. It’s easy to apply the vinyl and remove it when done.
The rest of the bottle is wrapped with vinyl electrical tape to protect it from the sandblasting.
To sandblast your design on your bottle follow these Sandblast your design instructions with our Sandblasting Machine using vinyl masks cut with the Silhouette Cameo. I use a professional sandblaster from Harbor Freight.
I use our New Glass Bottle Cutting and Sanding machine to cut & sand my bottles
You can also score & separate with our Scoring Machine and sand smooth with our Sanding Machine.
Note: Any of the Chime Bottles can also be used as a Bottle Candle by using an Air-Flow Base.
This is your chance to start your own business (for very little money), creating unique chimes, bottle candles, etc. which you can sell at street fairs, on Pinterest, Etsy, Facebook, etc. Low cost and easy as pie!
